In 2023, Eversight provided 13,813 tissues for transplantation, research and education around the world. We placed tissue and worked with physicians and researchers in 33 countries and facilitated training for 865 clinicians. This is no small feat.
We continue to invest in our dedicated teams and partners who carry on our mission work daily. In 2023, Eversight was recognized as a Top Workplace nationally and earned nine Top Workplaces National Culture Excellence awards.
Our community commitment is unwavering as we awarded seed research grants to establish preliminary data, advocated for donation and transplantation to grow the donor registry and expanded our network to include Donor Network of Arizona to maximize the gift of sight. We innovated for our surgeons and their patients to further streamline surgery and reduce cost.
Generous individual gifts and grantors contributed over $1.3 million to support our mission, including more than $120,000 to advance our research and global development initiatives. We thank the Michigan Foundation for Vision Awareness, Alcon Foundation, Paul and Cindy Vogel and the RR Dossin Family Foundation for their notable contributions.
Eversight’s continued focus on improving operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for targeted growth, pursuing strategic diversification initiatives and enhancing our core culture will carry us into the future and be achieved in alignment with our values of service, drive and trust.
