CLEVELAND, Nov. 8, 2021 — The Tuscora Park Health and Wellness Foundation has awarded Eversight a grant to purchase critical recovery supplies for eye donation in Stark and Summit Counties, allowing Eversight to carry out donor and family wishes to give the gift of sight to people in need.
Through Sept. 30, 2021, 169 donors from Summit and Stark Counties selflessly gave the gift of sight this year. During this same period, 87 Summit and Stark County residents received a sight-restoring transplant as a result of the generosity of these donors and their families.
“Eversight is grateful to the Tuscora Park Health and Wellness Foundation for their generous gift, which will allow us to continue honoring the wishes of donors in Summit and Stark Counties,” said Teresa Clark, Vice President of Philanthropy at Eversight. “We look forward to many more years of partnership with the Foundation.”
