ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Eversight announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the Board are Danielle E. Foster, Dr. Shahzad I. Mian and Katheryne L. Zelenock.
“We are delighted to welcome Ms. Foster, Dr. Mian and Ms. Zelenock to the Eversight Board of Directors,” said David Bosch, President of Eversight. “All three are recognized leaders in their fields, incredibly talented and bring a broad set of skills to Eversight. We are fortunate to add such high-caliber individuals to help our organization restore sight and prevent blindness.”
Foster is a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in Chicago. She has an extensive history promoting eye and vision health after volunteering for nearly 20 years with Delta Gamma, a sorority that promotes sight preservation and conservation.
“I look forward to supporting Eversight and spreading the word about donation and the power of the gift of sight,” Foster said. “I hope my financial background is an asset to the Board and can help the organization continue to flourish.”
Dr. Mian, a corneal surgeon at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center, is also an Eversight Medical Director. In that role, Dr. Mian shares his experience and expertise on behalf of patients and families to ensure Eversight provides safe and reliable tissue for corneal transplantation.
“The more I interact with Eversight, the better I understand the passion the people involved with the organization,” Dr. Mian said. “I am honored to join the Board as we expand the reach of Eversight to provide sight to anyone in need.”
Zelenock is Chair of the Real Estate Finance Practice Group and a Member in the Dickinson Wright PLLC’s Real Estate Group in Troy, Mich. In her practice, she leads a team that closes commercial and multifamily mortgage loans across the country on behalf of leading national lenders. She is also co-Chair of Dickinson Wright’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and Chair of the Dickinson Wright Women’s Network.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to join Eversight, an organization serving surgeons and researchers with unsurpassed tissue quality and customer service,” Zelenock said. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with management and my fellow board members to help Eversight and its crucial mission.”
With these three new appointments, the Eversight board consists of 15 members, including: Chair Rashid L. Hunter, Chaplain and Regional Mission Officer for Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Ill.; Alan Daninhirsch, a registered architect in Connecticut; Jonathan H. Lass, M.D., the Charles I. Thomas Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland; Elspeth Moore, a West Milford Lions Club member; Florence Johnston, former Eversight CEO; Marilyn Lindenauer, former Eversight CEO and President; Kevin Ross, Eversight CEO; and David Bosch, Eversight President.
