Vishal Jhanji, MD, is a professor of ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Jhanji completed his ophthalmology training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, and fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, University of Melbourne, Australia. He worked as an associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2017, Dr. Jhanji joined the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he is as a professor and member of the cornea, cataract and external disease services, refractive surgery service, clinical co-director of the Funderburgh Cornea Regeneration Project and associate medical director of the Charles T. Campbell Eye Microbiology Lab.
