Eversight and event Co-Chairs Candace Jordan and Michael Caputo hosted more than 200 guests at The Peninsula Chicago on Oct. 24, 2019 for the annual Gift of Sight Mystery Masquerade, raising nearly $175,000 to provide sight-restoring cornea transplants to people in need.
Proceeds from the Gift of Sight Mystery Masquerade will help ensure no one suffering from corneal blindness will be left in the dark. Through the Gift of Sight Fund, Eversight provides low- or no-cost corneal tissue to patients who could not otherwise afford a life-changing transplant.
Visit eversightvision.org/give to support our mission to restore sight and prevent blindness through eye donation, corneal transplantation and vision research.
Thank you to all our supporters—you are changing lives! Join us next year at the Peninsula Chicago on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020.

Masked guests were greeted by gold human candelabras complements of ZZAZZ Productions and transported into a sea of gold and black décor.
Specialty cocktails were served up at the MyEyeDr Gold Bar and sketches were drawn of masked attendees by the one and only Rosemary Fanti.
Guests mingled and viewed an extensive silent auction before the doors opened to a stunning ballroom transformed by Tamar Productions and Kehoe Designs. Each table was adorned with beautiful crystal masks compliments of Mary Ann Rose.
The main event of the evening was celebrating beloved Philanthropist and Civic Leader Sherry Lea Holson, Eversight’s 2019 Woman of Vision, and world-renowned eye surgeon and Arbor Centers for EyeCare founder David Lubeck, M.D., Eversight’s 2019 Gift of Sight Honoree. Sherry Lea and Dr. Lubeck were celebrated by colleagues and surrounded by the love of friends and family.
Dinner was followed by dancing and ended the evening with the MyEyeDr Candy Bar.
