Eversight’s Board Chair Kathy Zelenock

A letter of gratitude from Eversight’s Board Chair Kathy Zelenock

A record-breaking year

As we reflect on the past year, our Board of Directors is overwhelmed with gratitude and pride for the extraordinary impact Eversight made in 2024. The year was nothing short of record-breaking, as we provided more than 10,200 tissues for transplantation, giving the gift of sight to thousands of individuals across the globe. We are also so very grateful for and humbled by the 8,562 cornea tissue donors and their families, whose precious gifts made this work possible.

The importance of Eversight’s mission extends far beyond numbers. Every cornea transplant represents a life transformed—a student who can now pursue their education without limitations, a parent who can once again see the faces of their children, an elder who regains their independence. Our work does not stop at transplantation; through cutting-edge research, innovative therapies and global partnerships, Eversight is advancing vision care and ensuring that sight restoration is accessible to all, no matter where they live.

The financial gifts of our generous contributors fuel this life-changing work, allowing us to expand our reach, invest in groundbreaking research and serve more individuals in need. On behalf of our Board of Directors and the entire Eversight team, thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we are restoring sight and transforming lives.

With gratitude,
Eversight’s Board Chair Kathy Zelenock
