As the sole eye bank serving New Jersey, Eversight's work is closely aligned with the KearnyBank Foundation’s commitment to improving lives within the communities they serve.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from the KearnyBank Foundation,” said Becky Harris, Philanthropy Director, Foundations & Corporations, Eversight. “This grant will make a significant impact, contributing directly to the recovery and preparation of cornea tissue for transplantation, supporting our team’s round-the-clock efforts to change lives.”
With this grant, Eversight will be able to prepare up to three corneas for life-changing surgeries, helping restore sight to individuals struggling with treatable blindness, and enable up to 18 donors and their families to give the gift of sight.
In 2023, Eversight worked with the families of 912 New Jersey residents who selflessly gave the gift of sight and local surgeons relied on Eversight to provide 424 tissues for safe transplantation for New Jersey residents in need.

Improving the health of community members facing economic and accessibility challenges is a priority for both organizations,” said Taryn Rockwell, Foundation Administrator.
