Meet the Eversight Partner Relations team

Ebony Johnson began her career at Eversight in 2012 and has held various positions within the organization. As a Partner Relations Director serving Michigan, Ebony plays a significant role in fostering longstanding partnerships with surgeons and their teams, ensuring they have access to quality corneal tissue to successfully provide the gift of sight to patients in their care.  Ebony also oversees Eversight’s Young Physicians Group and manages the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center-Eversight Fellowship program.

Michael Szkarlat has been with Eversight since 2016 in several roles, mainly focused on EK tissue processing. He has authored peer-reviewed literature and presented at numerous conferences both in the US and abroad. Szkarlat is an expert in surgical simulation for corneal transplant practice and has trained surgeons and eye bankers across the globe on EK tissue preparation. He is passionate about building authentic partnerships between surgeons and eye banks to both steward the gift of donation and advance the field of corneal transplant. 

Brooke Harthun has been with Eversight since 2017, with previous clinical experience in advanced tissue processing and the training and education of tissue processors.

Kara Kelly is a Partner Relations Director serving the Midwest since 1992. She is dedicated to empowering corneal specialists and their teams and is passionate about fostering solid partnerships, providing valuable insights and support to enhance practice operations. Kelly excels in guiding partners through formal agreements and educational resources, ensuring they confidently achieve their goals.  

Sara McKoy focuses on building relationships with Chicagoland surgeons to enhance patient care and education about Eversight's offerings. She supports surgeons in accessing sight-restoring tissue, coordinates educational wet labs, and collaborates with the Eversight R&D and Global Development teams to make vision a reality worldwide. McKoy also educates clinicians on best practices in eye donation and transplantation. 

John Patton joined Eversight in 2024 and has built a career in the medical device industry working with service providers in ophthalmology, orthopedics and IT medical records. As a Partner Relations Director serving Ohio, he is committed to providing exceptional service to surgeons and OR teams to optimize patient outcomes and customer experience. Patton is passionate about building long-term partnerships between surgeons and eye banks, fostering relationships with the donor community.

Jennifer Quinn joined Eversight in 2025 and has built a career in medical device and sleep diagnostic industry working closely with sleep physicians, primary care providers, cardiologists, pulmonologists, endocrinologists, pediatricians and now ophthalmologists in her role at Eversight. As a Partner Relations Director serving Connecticut and New Jersey, she is committed to providing exceptional service to surgeons and OR teams to optimize patient outcomes and customer experience. Quinn is passionate about building long-term partnerships between surgeons and eye banks, fostering relationships with the donor community.
