Team Eversight connected with participants in the Sponsor Village in addition to having runners on the route. Team Eversight reflected on the lives and impact of the donors we were honoring and supported the 5K teams their families created in their memory. It was a beautiful, quiet moment during an otherwise bustling and exciting event.
Team Eversight included Vice President of Research & Development Onkar Sawant, who traveled from Ohio to New Jersey to support this meaningful 5K.
Music boomed through an enormous crowd of spectators as did cheers for the runners and walkers with pompoms and homemade signs. The event was a roaring success, and everyone was in great spirits.
“Thanks to dedicated partners like Eversight, our 5K Celebration of Life is the largest fundraising and awareness event for organ and tissue donation in the country,” said Amanda Tibok, Executive Director of the Sharing Network Foundation. “These events have an immeasurable impact on touching the lives of countless people across the donation and transplant community and beyond.”
