Always helping others, even in death

A tribute from David's niece

Uncle David gave generously and quietly of his time, talent and treasure. He’d go out of his way to help others. It was no surprise when he mentioned that he was a registered organ, eye and tissue donor. When he passed away at home, I knew that if he was going to donate the family needed to make the phone call to start the process. It was my honor to help fulfill his last gift of generosity – giving of himself.

Uncle David was able to donate his bone, skin and corneas to help others. One of his corneas was transplanted in Pakistan, the other was used to help train eye surgeons. He would be proud of both of those!
