Throughout her life, Laurie (Laura) Leipzig Wiersma always gave to others, even when she had little to give. Laurie joined the family of angels on Nov. 12, 2020, after a fight with liver & kidney issues, & was registered as an organ donor, so she could continue to give. When Eversight called to ask if Laurie would be willing to donate her eyes, I readily agreed, as Laurie would love to pass on the gift of sight, so someone else would be able to see the world through her eyes.
