Good news! Donor gives sight to 2 people!

My husband, John, died on November 6, 2023 after a 23 year battle with prostate cancer. Eventually, the cancer metastasized and his liver failed.  John was a Science teacher who triggered many of his 6th grade students to go into the medical profession.  He loved being retired and spending time with his 2 grandchildren, Christian and Elizabeth.  We have a 7 acre farmette where he planted over 100 fruit trees, walnut trees, and a huge garden.  He raised chickens, pigs, and cattle.  He also remodeled our 150 year old home room by room.  John loved his faith, family, and friends.  His siblings were so happy to hear the news that their brother gave sight to 2 people after his death.  Our son, Andy, will carry on with the farm so we can continue to enjoy farm fresh eggs and a multitude of vegetables.  We hope the donations continue to pour in so many more individuals will be given the gift of sight.
